In a disappointed Life
And an unhappy marriage
My father found Fulfillment
In my Tutelage.

Fated
To be a Student
At his feet, I Learnt
Forgotten Rules of Propriety.

In Rebellion
I cast aside his Affection
Determined to deny
His Societal Education.

And Teaching remain
